We are to talk about the rarest form of mesothelioma known today as Papillary Mesothelioma. Papillary mesothelioma more often affects areas not typically affected by other forms of mesothelioma. These areas include ovaries in women and the tunica vaginalis (membrane covering the front and sides of the testicles and epididymis) in men. The disease may also affect the mesothelial lining of the heart, lungs, stomach and abdomen. There are lots more of researches that are needed to be done so that this disease can be understood by us all.

Papillary Mesothelioma and women are interrelated in the sense that women are more affected by this type of mesothelioma as compared to men. Papillary Mesothelioma cells are of course, just like any other type of mesothelioma cells, should be subjected to proper laboratory processes so that the very nature, cause and treatment for such disease will be known or revealed. Since this rarely occurs, the disease is very hard to deal with because there is only little information that is known about it. Diagnosis of papillary mesothelioma is dependent upon the detection and identification of the tumor and the cells causing it. An x-ray, MRI, or CT scan may detect the tumor, and blood tests and biopsy identify the type of cell causing the tumor.

It is then important that we be very careful especially women so that you can avoid dealing with this kind of disease. Since it is very rare, the chances of having a long term cure for it are also very low. Think about it. This is a kind of disease you don’t want to be messing with.
